All my sugar decoration work is priced according to intricacy and is charged at the same rate irrespective of the type of celebration. I do not inflate my prices for weddings.
All the cakes I create are bespoke. So, the final price is determined by many factors such as the size of the tiers, flavour, complexity of design, size and quantity of sugar flowers, bespoke piping work, etc. The more intricate or elaborate the decoration, the more expensive the cake.
During a consultation, if necessary, I can indicate prices of individual decorative elements. This enables you to make informed choices as to the extent of decoration you would like and allows me to provide a fully-itemised quotation in line with your anticipated spend.
The guide below, reflecting the designs featured in my Portfolio, shows the minimum and maximum you may expect to pay. As these ranges are quite broad average prices (in brackets) are included too.
I have a choice of two pedestal cake stands (pictured below) available for hire when you commission a cake from me. Both are capable of supporting the considerable weight of tiered cakes. Hire charge £10. Refundable security deposit £80/£130 dependent on stand hired. The hire period is four days inclusive. Please note, I do not offer a collection service and it is your responsibility to return the stand within four days of your event.
