I’m Amanda and having founded and run my business since 2009 under the name of Homebaked Heaven, I decided in the autumn of 2016 to rebrand to a name more synonymous with the personal and bespoke wedding cake design service I offer – Amanda Earl Cake Design was born!

Amanda EarlAlways having been artistically inclined, initially pursuing ceramics, I now apply similar techniques to sugar as I once did to clay but my clients get to eat my work! Baking and cake design has always been my passion. Previously only my close friends and family indulged but, with a little gentle encouragement, I was convinced that I should share my cakes with you.

What followed was a dedicated process of avidly baking to perfect the ultimate texture of sponge and flavour combinations. Cake samples were proffered to more-than-willing taste-testers at consumer group sessions. Their feedback led to even more baking, even more tweaking and even more tasting to create the perfect range for you!

I have honed my intricate piping and sugar flower skills, developing my own distinctive style, to enable me to design a unique centrepiece of edible art for your special day, inspired by the elements of your wedding day you have chosen so carefully, and am delighted that my work has received recognition in a number of magazines and blogs.

I provide a professional, friendly and personal service with meticulous attention to detail, giving you peace of mind from initial consultation to the delivery and set-up of your cake, and am confident that you will enjoy my cakes as much as I enjoy creating them.

I also create sugar flowers made to order and love to share my knowledge and passion for sugarcraft through private tuition.
